China and the United States have up to 30 years of scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation, which promotes basic research and personnel exchanges, increases friendship and understanding between two countries. It also brings a significant role to strengthen research cooperation, and promote technology innovation between universities, research institutes and enterprises.
The theme of this conference is “Technology innovation, collaboration and development“. The Conference will cover several areas: new energy and environmental protection, information technology, biopharmaceutical science and medicine, international talent cooperation and startup competition, etc., and highlight the technology innovation. It requires the Sino-US joint efforts on technology sector, overcome challenges and achieve scientific sustainable development. The common goal of the innovation strategy between China and the United States, is to promote sustainable growth and quality employment, energy saving and environmental protection, new energy, information technology, bio-medicine, new materials, etc., and highlight the scientific and technological innovation, strengthening the basis of cutting-edge research, focusing on cultivating new industries, strengthening the research infrastructure.
The Conference is hosted by Chinese Association for Science and Technology, USA (CAST-USA). Entrepreneurs, government officials, and renowned scientists from both China and U.S. are invited as speakers to share their viewpoints, expertise and experiences in various technological fields, as well as success stories for capitalizing on innovations in the new technologies. The members from CAST-USA’s 12 regional chapters, 7 to-be-built regional chapters and 10 liaison offices in China, many of whom are experts, entrepreneurs and well-known academics in the area of new technology development will also attend the conference.
